Stepping Forward’s new clinic offers state-of-the-art facilities including two gyms designed to facilitate the assessment & treatment of children at various developmental and mobility stages. There are also six treatment rooms that cater for sensory diversity, interests and abilities.

Our approach at Stepping Forward is to create a fun and engaging environment. We understand that for children, play is an essential part of learning and development. Therefore, our gyms and treatment rooms are designed to challenge and develop children's gross motor skills in a playful, supportive setting. This approach not only aids in achieving their therapeutic goals but also ensures that each visit is an enjoyable and positive experience.

One gym features a ceiling track hoist, a critical asset in supporting children with more complex needs. This innovative equipment allows children the invaluable opportunity to walk and engage in mobility exercises, enhancing their therapy experience significantly. The second gym is equipped with two state-of-the-art Pilates reformers, catering especially to high-performance athletes. These reformers are instrumental in providing advanced training and rehabilitation, ensuring athletes receive the specialised care they need.

In addition to our gyms, Stepping Forward boasts six treatment rooms. Each room is carefully crafted to cater to sensory diversity, aligning with the unique interests and abilities of each child. These rooms are not just spaces; they are nurturing environments that enhance therapeutic interventions. From proprioceptive input to fine motor skill development, our facilities are equipped to address a wide range of therapeutic needs.

“At Stepping Forward, we are committed to providing a setting that is not just functional but also welcoming and conducive to the holistic development of every child we serve. With our specialized facilities and dedicated team, we are at the forefront of paediatric physiotherapy, delivering exceptional care and support to our young clients and their families.”
