Dean Dessiniotis

PAEDIATRIC PHYSIOTHERAPIST

Dean is a newly graduated physiotherapist who recently completed his Doctor of Physiotherapy at the University of Melbourne, following a Bachelor of Science at Monash University. He is also a Level 1 Sports Trainer and has provided his services across a range of sporting environments, including Taekwondo Victoria and Mount Waverley Soccer Club.

Dean brings over eight years of experience as a martial arts instructor, teaching children and adults of all ages. He has also worked closely with children with disabilities in both his roles as a martial arts instructor and an Allied Health Assistant, delivering fun, engaging sessions focused on developing gross motor and functional skills.

Dean has a strong passion for working with children and adolescents and is committed to creating a supportive environment that empowers young people to become the best versions of themselves and reach their full potential.

Outside of work, Dean enjoys watching football with friends and teaching Taekwondo to his students on weekends. He also has a keen interest in long-distance swimming, playing squash, and going for nightly walks.

Dean is an active member of the Australian Physiotherapy Association and regularly attends professional development workshops and webinars to continually enhance his knowledge and clinical skills.
